A corporation is a separate legal entity and has all the rights, powers and privileges of a person.  A Shareholder may own the company, but the corporation owns all assets under it.

When you incorporate you have the choice to become a numbered company or you can choose a name for your company.  When it comes to naming your company it is wise to pick your top 3 names just in case the first name you chose is already being used.  

A corporation is made up of Shareholders, Directors and Officers.  A person can be all three or there can be different people in each position.  This is something that needs to be established before incorporating.
